That’s a good question. I actually will draw out a wireframe in most cases and determine where things need to go. I actually made a sketch before writing this tutorial. If I can find the original, i’ll add it to the post.

I will say, I have not always sketched ,and the trial and error mode works good for many people as well.

I think the result is great and I also learned a few new tricks.
One question though, how did you come up with the overall concept. Do make a wire-frame in advanced, or are you just creating by trial and error?
