Brick & Stone: Texture Pack

Brick & Stone: Texture Pack

This is a collection of free stone and brick textures for you to download. There are 24 textures available in this freebie. You can use these for personal or commercial purposes in your work, though we require you to ask for permission to redistribute them. All textures are 2048×1353.

The idea behind the Textures

I have been living in Chicago for almost a year now and have been amazed by what this city has to offer.  This week I decided I would strap up my camera and just go on a walk, with no destination in mind.  The goal of this adventure was to find as many unique textures as I could throughout my journey, and then share them with the community.  This is the first pack of many that I will be sharing with you guys and gals.  Enjoy!

Are the seamless repeating textures? This would be really great to use it in 3D max or equivalent.

    Thanks

  • Doc February 19th, 2010 at 4:43 am

They are not seamless. In fact, they’re not even corrected to remove the lens distortion…

I actually didn’t edit them at all, as I was just going to release them as the raw shots. I can go back and do all that if you guys would like. Also, I am going to release some soon that will be repeatable.

  • Imon February 20th, 2010 at 3:45 am

I would rather the raw shot’s then edited image’s that have been manipulated, it’s a lot easier to get better blends and effects

These are great! Thank you for sharing. I agree they would be better if they were the originals though too.

I was looking for this texture to create something for my parents 50th anniversary……They got married in 1961 at a Plantation House in the Caribbean and these textures are so appropriate for my table ideas….Thanks

Thanks for sharing Matthew. Even if these textures are not edited, they look very nice. For more free textures you can check http://www.creattor.com, too.
